#7 - FINE print quality and 16 bits per channel
Canon's FINE Print head is made by a full-photolithography process, not bonded, which enables accurate placement and control of each individual drop of ink and a high resolution of 4800x2400 dpi. The result is highly detailed, grain-free prints. 16bits per channel printing creates smoother tonal gradations in colour and monochrome and enables you to make the most of your 16bit images.
#8 - Ambient Light Correction
The Ambient Light Correction is a new feature using Canon Kyuanos technology, which automatically corrects the print color tones for accurate color rendition in the lighting conditions under which it will be displayed.
The colours in the final print are then automatically adjusted to ensure that the displayed result looks just the way the photographer intended.
Feature only available with Windows Vista
