Jaaxy Keyword Research Tool is Awesome

Updated on November 14, 2014

Get Relevant Keywords Super Fast and Save Time!

Having spent years writing on blogs, websites and here on HubPages, I've never been sure that the keywords I've chosen were really the right ones, or those with loads of competition, or even totally useless and irrelevant!

In the past I've relied on the Google Keyword Tool and also a tool on the Wealthy Affiliate site, both good research tools in their own right, but they're nothing compared to the power of the new Jaaxy Enterprise Keyword Research Tool.

Jaaxy entered my online life some time ago, and I've watched its transformation from just the usual and similar to other keyword tools, to this immensely powerful and thoroughly useful superstar it is now. I signed up for their trial which allows the user to make 30 FREE powerful searches, albeit with limited functionality, but enough to show you its ability and usefulness. After 6 of my free searches I had to have it for the full functionality!

I'm totally hooked and that's why I wanted to share it with my colleagues on Squidoo. It has transformed the way I find my lens keywords - which are now VERY RELEVANT with LOW COMPETITION and took very little time to get.

There is so much more to this product, so please read on...I reckon that you'll love it!

What is Jaaxy? - The best keyword research tool

Jaaxy
Jaaxy

Jaaxy Enterprise is the full blown version of the original keyword research tool, Jaaxy. The basic tool offers to all-comers the chance to try it out for FREE without any sort of commitment at all. You'll get an immediate allowance of 30 free keyword searches, albeit with a limited number of returned keyword results.

I found when I signed up for the trial, I used only 6 of my 30 searches and was so impressed that I had to have immediate access to the full Enterprise version - bypassing Jaaxy Pro!

Overview of Jaaxy

Jaaxy keyword research tool is an online stand-alone product specifically designed for the research of niche keywords. What makes this product so strong is that it returns related keywords and ranks them in a number of ways:

(see image below)

  1. Keywords - searched word shown highlighted in yellow in the top row. Any saved keywords have the green L icon next to them.
  2. Number of Monthly Searches - the returned number of searches performed on that particular word in a month.
  3. Estimated Traffic - this is the amount of traffic you could expect if your website with this keyword is ranked #1 in Google.
  4. QSR (quoted search results) - this is the level of competition from other websites with this same keyword. We are interested in any figure below 400, in other words lower competition.
  5. KQI (Keyword Quality Indicator) - is a system which gives you a visual overview.

Red = keyword quality not good,

Yellow = keyword quality is OK,

Green = keyword quality is excellent.

  6. Seo Power - is a score based on the culmination of Traffic, QSR and Competition rating from 0-100 where the higher, the better.
  7. Domain Availability - this is a fantastic method which shows you instantly what domains are available for this keyword. Should you choose one, you will be taken immediately to GoDaddy.com to sign up. It's so efficient and speedy!
  8. This shows that the domain for a .com .org and .net are available

With such detailed results, you can be selective in choosing low competition relevant keywords and avoiding those high competition ones that are so hard to rank for. Whether you have blogs, websites, lenses or simply write articles, now there is a super accurate method of extracting just those highly relevant keywords very quickly.

You can see site rankings and potential competition for the keyword, as well as related affiliate programs which help to give you a head start over the competition.

By selecting keywords from the search results, they can be grouped and saved into lists which can be viewed or downloaded as .txt or .csv files at any time. It's possible to save as many lists as you like.

There has never been such a fast and accurate method of finding keywords based on competition, traffic and monthly searches.

Problem With MOST Keyword Tools...

If you've used or bought a keyword tool before, you'll be aware that many produce SO MUCH data and other pretty irrelevant stuff that's difficult to understand. What's the good of loads of numbers and data that mean nothing?

One of my big issues comes with any program that you have to install. They can lead to big problems which may be hard to rectify. They also tend to produce loads of guestimates when it comes to PPC - what use is that?

Any program that requires you to perform several searches to accomplish a single task or those which don't gather their data from ALL the search engines should be avoided for obvious reasons.

AVOID TOOLS WHICH RETURN POOR RESULTS

FAST Search

Enter your desired keyword and in a few seconds you'll be shown the full list where it only takes a short time to sort the columns of data however you like.

I find that by sorting the QSR column to arrange all the green light KQI's into a group is the quickest method to extrapolate really good, low competition keywords.

Example: Keyword = organic wine

I have found 22 fantastic keywords related to organic wine, all with low competition and average monthly search amounts. By using the KQI light system, I've homed in on the results of different keywords instantly without wasting time.

I now have enough information to start a good campaign - all in 20 seconds or thereabouts, not bad!

Awesome Results

Save Keywords Into Lists

It's so easy to save all the keywords into a bespoke list from where you can download them at any time and go back and edit or delete the list.

What makes the program SO user friendly is that it's simply designed (and run by the developers themselves) - no middle men! The interface is extremely well laid out so it will take you no time at all to master it - there are several great training videos too.

7 Figure Marketing Blueprint

7 Figure Marketing Blueprint - Module 4: Keyword Research
Learning how to find the right keywords for your website is absolutely vital, otherwise how can you get the necessary traffic. Many of us think that all you need to do is to think of a few closely connected words to your article topic and leave it at that. If that's the way you go about choosing your keywords, I think you could benefit from this useful dvd. Get your keyword research right and you have a chance of getting good amounts of traffic. The more you know about this side of SEO, the quicker you will increase visitor numbers. Nicole Munoz, the author speaks from experience, she has had her business ranking at #1 for her specific keywords for seven years in a row. Now that's someone who knows exactly what they're doing!

View the Competition

Not only can you find the best keywords for your website, you can also see exactly whom your competition is from Google, Bing and Yahoo search engines. What makes this program shine above the rest is that you can dig in to each competitor for a full analysis which includes keywords, word count, Alexa rank, keyword density and backlink numbers.

This is incredibly powerful analytical data that will help you fine tune your campaign. So, if you find you're not ranking as well as you should be, then there's nothing better than having a look at what your competitor is doing. Perhaps they're using slightly different keywords or maybe they've spent a lot of time creating backlinks, but whatever it is, you can get to benefit from this data.

Another aspect that is interesting is being able to see the word count, so you get a feel of the optimum article length that each has used. Keyword Density is a very important figure as repeating your keyword too much is considered to be 'keyword stuffing'.

Finally, the use of Adsense on a site can be seen. Often it's not a good idea to over advertise your website so using Adsense may not always be in the best interest of the site generally.

All this is useful information!

Jaaxy Suits Any Budget...

Jaaxy does so much more than I've covered here. There are a load of functions available, some deal with finding niches (brainstorming), others with site ranking, more with affiliate programs and yet more analyzing your competition's websites... and masses more!

This program is really AWESOME! It does everything worthwhile - it's super fast, and super efficient, I love it!

Jaaxy Starter = FREE

There are several options for Jaaxy, so if you want to dabble and try it out (30 free searches)...

Jaaxy Pro = $19 per month, $199 per year

Small enthusiastic user who wants a great program...

Jaaxy Enterprise = $49 per month, $499 per year

For the power user...

Choose the Jaaxy Which Suits YOU Here!

I'm using the Enterprise version because I want full functionality without wasting time. What you choose depends on your experience, but I can definitely recommend that you try Jaaxy starter to begin with (although it has limited functionality) - you've nothing to lose! Jaaxy Pro is still a great product which will save you hours every day with your keyword research, but it isn't as fast as the Enterprise version.

Being a web based tool you can access it from anywhere so long as you have an Internet connection, including your mobile phone. Try it...Enjoy it!

This is a concise and well presented video overview of Jaaxy.

Avoid Keyword Stuffing

Keep Google happy & your readers!

With much being written about the importance of high quality content against that of advertorials and keyword stuffing of web content, Google seems to be constantly changing the goal posts. But are they really? Well, in a sense, yes they are, and they have to in order to keep us on our toes, producing good stuff that others want to read about. In another sense, no they're not because we are the ones tying to circumvent many areas by employing black hat* tactics, over promotion and writing poor content, they must evolve and keep us in order.

By allowing poor content to flood the web is in no ones interest, and certainly not Google's, so we must embrace the changes they make and try to play within the rules. I know it's difficult when you often don't know what the rules are - but heck, GOOD QUALITY CONTENT ALWAYS WINS over black hat.

My main point here is to address Keyword Stuffing. This is when website owners repeat keywords and/or key phrases hoping to confuse the search engines into thinking that the web pages are more important than they really are.

It's alright to repeat the keywords and phrases that are vital to your web page and website, but when the repetition is purely designed for the search engines only rather than for your human visitors, then you are guilty of spamming the search engines. The search engines don't take kindly to this kind of abuse.

*A term used on the internet for someone who uses aggressive SEO tactics against the search engines rather than humans, by maliciously violating computer or Internet security for personal gain.

What is a Longtail Keyword?

A long-tail keyword is a search phrase used in search engine optimization.

It's good to get into the habit of using highly specific phrases which are usually between 2 and 5 words long which make up a longtail keyword.

BE SPECIFIC - Just think about it.

If you are wanting to know about white iphone cases, you wouldn't type just "iphone case" into the search engine - it's not specific enough.

We need to type "white iphone cases" to find EXACTLY what we want.
